
Junior High or Middle School INDIVIDUAL Projects: Entries in the Individual Junior High or Middle School Division (grades 6, 7, 8) will be accepted in Physical Science or Biological Science. The student is responsible for correctly classifying the project on the entry form. The student is permitted to enter ONLY ONE project. Each INDIVIDUAL PROJECT can carry the name of ONLY ONE student.
Junior High or Middle School TEAM Projects: Teams may not have more than 3 members. ANY TEAM PROJECT ENTRY WITH MORE THAN THREE NAMES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. A team project cannot be converted to an individual project. A new member may not be added to a continuing team project but two original team members may continue their research if the third member no longer participates. Team projects compete in a separate “team” category against other team projects regardless of area of research.
Senior High INDIVIDUAL Projects: Entries in the Individual Senior High School Division (grades 9, 10, 11, 12) will be accepted in one of 16 ISEF categories. Students are responsible for classifying their entries in the appropriate category. Classification cannot be changed once a final official entry has been received by the fair director
