Eligibility

Any
student in 6th-12th
grade with an interest in science and enrolled in a public, private,
parochial, or home school in the state of Iowa or an ISEF designated
area is eligible to enter the SSTFI. Students may enter as an
individual or a team (2 or 3 students).

All
6th-12th
grade students in Iowa or ISEF designated areas are eligible to
participate. A student does not have to win at a local, conference
or regional science fair to be eligible to exhibit at SSTFI.

Students
may compete in only ONE ISEF affiliated fair, except when proceeding
to a state/national fair affiliated with the ISEF from an affiliated
regional fair.

Each
student may enter only one project which covers research done over a
maximum
of 12 continuous months between January 2007 and March 2008.

All students must adhere to all of the rules of the SSTFI and the Intel
ISEF as set forth in this document, on the SSTFI website:
